Upward Dog is a force-free, fear-free, and evidence-based dog training service. We aim to stay up-to-date on the latest animal behavior research. We regularly reassess the methods that are effective and ineffective with your dogs. We are constantly seeking further education and new and improved avenues of training. We continue our education through attending conferences, enrolling in behavior & training courses, conversing with other trainers, reading literature, and testing it on our own dogs! We aim to integrate fun and challenging activities in our training that both dogs and their humans can enjoy. Simple, repeatable, and effective is what we strive to create for you.
Based on the Hierarchy of Behavior Change Procedures, we work with the least intrusive and most rewarding forms of effective intervention.
